They have just purchased biofuels, to help stop climate change. They want to reduce our dependency on fuels from other countries so "we can become better war-fighters." They are trying to do more then let people know about it there trying to fight global warming and stop it. One of their jets will take off for its first flight using biofuel on earth day.

Posted by James

"Senate Republicans Move to Bar NEPA Analysis of Climate Change Impacts." New York Times. 20 Apr. 2010. The bill states that the Nation Environmental Policy Act should not document or predict the climate effects of federal action, such as burning fossil fuels. Agencies must look over a project that will produce over 25000 metric tons of greenhouse gases annually. Agencies must also take into account the effects of climate change on their projects, such as building close to the sea, as the sea is rising. The Republicans state that what the White House is doing could stop road construction, delay domestic energy production and hurt jobs.
